The vision of St. Vincent de Paul is to improve the lives of people in need. Our mission is to help one person at a time with shelter, food, and clothing. We give unconditional service and hospitality to adults or families who are homeless or on the brink of homelessness.

What happens When I Serve?
You give hope of a future to folks like Ricardo. Ricardo grew up on the streets and became drug dealer. To clean up, he left town and took a job as a carpenter. All was well until an injury cost him his job. He returned to Dayton and went back to his former life. He was using every day. When his mom moved into a nursing home, Ricardo lost his place to live. Homeless for a year, he survived on 1 meal per day. Then Ricardo found St. Vincent de Paul. There he got clean, got another job, and now has his own home.
