Arlene is part of the Restoration Admin Team, serving as a receptionist and secretary. Apart from serving the church, she loves reading, working out in the yard, and watching comedies with her husband, Dan. She and Dan have three married children and fourteen grandchildren. They will celebrate their 47th wedding anniversary in 2025. There are few things she finds more rewarding than enjoying a quiet summer morning with a cup of tea.

Where were you born?

Troy, Ohio

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was younger, I wanted to be a hairdresser.

What are two things nobody would guess about you?

1. I have my motorcycle license.

2. I love working puzzles!

What are three things you cannot live without?

  1. My husband.

  2. My kids and my grandkids. (Family is very important to Dan and I!)

  3. But most importantly, my relationship with the Lord!

What is some of your favorite music?

Christian music, 70’s music, and some Country music.

What is one of your guilty pleasures?

Cinnamon rolls from Bodega in Tipp City! Yum! Or, carrot cake from J. Alexander’s!

What is your favorite place to eat?

J. Alexander’s, but my husband would like me to say Dos Lunas! Also a favorite!

What is your favorite Bible verse?

“Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all.  The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
