About randy

Randy married his high school sweetheart, Cindi. He started ministry at Lake Avenue Christian Church in 1977 while still in college at Cincinnati Christian University and assisted in the move to Restoration in 2016. He is a father of four, grandfather of seven, and great-grandfather of two. His roles include Sunday morning teaching, leadership team, and responsibility for local community serving and global missions. His passions are discovering new insights about scripture and worshipping.

Where were you born?

Mt. Gilead, Ohio

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a professional singer.

What are two things nobody would guess about you?

1. I’ve been in multiple physical fights in church softball and church basketball leagues.

2. I love to dance.

What are three things you cannot live without?

  1. My faith

  3. Chocolate

What is some of your favorite music?

I enjoy lots of music genres, but I NEED blues music.

What is one of your guilty pleasures?

I’m very social and enjoy people, but occasionally crave time alone with a blank “to do” list.

What is your favorite place to eat?

Casual-Skyline Chili.

Formal- Anyplace with a great filet.

What is your favorite Bible verse?
